Linda had the privilege of attending a very special event for North Haven Hospice, an organisation that holds a treasured place in our community.
North Haven Hospice provides far more than medical care. Their team walks alongside those facing terminal or life-limiting illnesses, offering compassion, dignity, and aroha not only to individuals but also to their families. It is a holistic approach, wrapping a true cloak of care around those who need it most.
The event was a wonderful reminder of what community really means. From the warm smiles that filled the room, to the beautifully prepared catering, to the generosity of everyone involved, it was a celebration of connection, kindness, and shared purpose.
Linda came away feeling both humbled and inspired. Being part of an evening that highlighted the incredible work North Haven Hospice does, and the way they uplift so many in Northland, was a real privilege.
